Chris was two days old when his Angels family took him home from the hospital. Chris’s biological parents were both incarcerated at the time of his birth, and Chris’s mom admitted to using drugs early in her pregnancy.

The county tried to offer the father a chance to get to Chris back, and to find family members to care for Chris, but neither attempt was successful. Chris never met either of his parents, and his case was sent to adoptions.

Chris was adopted by the his Angels parents, Denyse and Drake. They had two adult sons, and they came to Angels to help out and to experience the joy of having a baby in their home again. Little did they know they would fall in love with their very first foster Angel and have the opportunity to adopt him.

Chris is now a bright, active three-year-old who loves being the center of attention!
