Choosing the Best Parents

Only the most highly qualified families can become Angels foster parents.
By carefully screening our candidate families, we ensure that each child
has a safe, loving home.
Angels strives to find high quality caregivers for the infants and toddlers in foster care. Angels foster parent requirements are based on state regulations as well as Angels' mission and beliefs. Here are the basic foster parent requirements.
Angels Foster Parents must:
- Be at least 21 years of age or older. (There is no maximum age limit)
- Be in good physical and mental health.
- Be fingerpinted and cleared through the FBI, Dept of Justice and Child Abuse Index Clearance.
- Be a good driver with available transportation.
- Be able to provide financially for a foster child.
- Have adequate space in home. (In most cases must have at least 2 bedrooms)

Creating a Safe Home
Every foster baby deserves a safe and comfortable home. Angels inspects
each foster home to ensure compliance with health and fire codes, and to
help our parents prepare a hazard-free environment for their young child.
