Our Goals

What Do We Work Toward Every Day?

1. Enhance foster family recruitment – Angels Foster Family Network’s success is limited only by its ability to identify and train qualified foster families. Angels seeks to certify more qualified foster parents, with the goal that one day no child will ever be turned away because we lack the sufficient number of families to care for those babies looking for an Angels home to “call their own”.

2. Funding, Grants and Donations – The Angels Foster Family Network is a 501©(3) non profit agency that solely relies on funding from grants and donations. It costs approximately $5,000 annually to recruit, screen, train and keep one baby placed with a loving family for a period of one year.

3. Build Public Awareness – The Angels Foster Family Network must continue to increase awareness of the crisis foster babies face once placed in foster care. This crisis exists because of the severe shortage of qualified foster families in San Diego County. Angels is not just a program of foster care – it is a new and innovative method of providing the finest care possible for the most innocent of all foster children- the babies.
